Face to Face Coach Development

This two-course program is designed for pedagogical coaches, veteran teachers who are mentoring new teachers and professional developers.

In the first course, Face-to-face Coaching for Understanding 1, participants learn about techniques and protocols to support their coaching and about using the Teaching for Understanding framework to design and Coaching Plan.

Face-to-face Coaching for Understanding 2 helps participants to continue building their coaching skills by putting course ideas into practice and then reflecting on those experiences in the discussion area with the coach and Study Group members.
After taking these two courses participants will be equipped with a variety of strategies, tools, techniques and frameworks which will assist them in supporting colleagues in the f2f coaching process.
