Integrating Technology to Improve Learning

This two-course program is designed for teachers and educational leaders. Participants will build curriculum that incorporates 21st Century Skills and available technologies to improve student participation and outcomes. In the first course Teaching to Standards with New Technologies 1, participants learn about technology in the context of the Teaching for Understanding framework and work in teams to build active learning units.

In the second course Teaching to Standards with New Technologies 2, participants explore the practical challenges of incorporating technology into teaching and learning plans. Using the active learning units built in TSNT1, participants design assessment tools, refine technology enhancements, and evaluate classroom results. This two-course sequence will help educators use technology to support student understanding.
