WIDE World transforms school systems for 21st century learning through sustained professional development programs for school leaders, instructional coaches, and classroom teachers. Our interactive online courses and customized onsite experiences both teach and model effective practices based on classroom-tested research conducted at Harvard Graduate School of Education. They develop collaborative learning communities focused on improving performance through high quality instruction and research on impact.
WIDE World works closely with educational leaders to define and understand the learning goals and culture of your school or system and to clarify professional development priorities. We then collaboratively design a coordinated learning plan to scale up instructional improvement and systemic transformation with tailored Programs of Study for teachers, coaches, and leaders.
The critical elements of the WIDE World Systemic School Improvement Process include:
- Job-embedded and team-based Programs of Study for teachers and leaders
- Tailored programs designed specifically for your district to ensure impact and sustainability through professional learning communities and coach development
- Action research to guide continuous improvement for educators, school systems, and students.
